Otrium is committed to the mission that all clothing produced should be worn. While no item or fashion brand can be perfectly 'ethical,' there are many areas where brands can make significant improvements. We want to support fashion companies striving for more responsible fashion and empower consumers to understand what this journey entails. In our Ethical  Conversations series, we’re exploring the approaches of some brands featured on Otrium. This time, we chatted with Bert, founder of Mud Jeans, and Lea, a member of their sustainability team.
Otrium continually works towards the  mission that all clothing  produced should be worn. There is no such thing as a perfect, “ethical” item or fashion brand: it’s not a black-and-white topic. There are, however, a lot of improvements brands can work on. We want to support fashion companies that strive to do better and empower you to understand what this journey entails.
Otrium continually works towards the  mission that all clothing should be worn. We do this by helping to eliminate unsold inventory and using  technology and data to change the way clothing is created and sold.
At Otrium, we are committed to a fashion industry where all clothing is worn. Our core mission is to connect excess inventory with its perfect owners, ensuring a win-win situation for brands and consumers alike, while preventing this unsold stock from finding its way into landfill.
We see a future where all clothing is worn, by eliminating unsold inventory and changing the way clothing is created and sold. We are looking to highlight brands in a positive way and help our customers make more informed choices.
Through an interview with Blutsgeschwister's CEO, we explore the heart and soul of the brand, shedding light on its journey towards sustainability, and their vision for a more conscious future.
Alchemist's story began 18 years ago when Caroline Mewe founded the brand with a vision to merge fashion and ethical business practices. Inspired by her upbringing on a small northern island in the Netherlands, Caroline believed that fashion could be both stylish and ethically made. Right from the start, Alchemist embraced environmentally friendly materials and ethical production practices, setting an example for the industry.
